my name is anita blake. i raise zombies. i kill rogue vampires. i like my coffee hot. i have way too many men in my life. i prefer nikes to high heels. i have guns and knives - they've kept me alive.
and weapons are way easier to understand than men.

paranoia is just another word for longevity.
most women complain that there are no single, straight men left. i'd just like to meet one who's human.
one thing I've learned about vampires - they keep pulling new rabbits out of their cloaks. big, fanged, carnivorous bunnies that'll eat your eyeballs out if you're not paying attention.
never trust people who smile constantly. they're either selling something or not very bright.
arrogance or stupidity, sometimes there's not much difference between the two.
i'd gotten better lately at simply refusing to let my imagination run away with me. maybe it had something to do with being a sociopath; if so, let's hear it for dementia.
